Quick question for graf pro.. Why did I end up with an European model when I ordered through my lhs ? Do u guys occasionally give out euro models?

Some of the uppers we use are made in Switzerland. I can't say for sure in your situation.

I totally agree with your opinion. Could anyone name other skate manufacturer, which has separate skate models for the foot shape?

So far graf ultra G5 are the best skates i ever had. I would definately recommend them to a friend :)

NikeBauer... Vapor/Supreme? Do I win anything?

lol you forgot flexlites =P

ha.. maybe your foot will feel a little different in vapor, supreme or flexlite, but these are definitely not intended for a different foot shape..

I've thought about this too. .why there are so relatively little players skating on grafs in NHL.. and i heard that many players skate on nike-bauer, because they get them for free or sort of. ..And this is not the case with grafs. Is it true? any comment?

because graf doesnt sponsor anyone. the players who currently wear them choose to wear them because graf fits their foot type better then bauer or any other company. im pretty sure players dont pay for their skates. they have a choice on what to wear and the team goes out to buy the skates for them. they still choose graf. lol.

may i ask wtfffff is they hype around graf skates ? never tried em, try not to look at them. Dont like that look and the look like crap with a diamond sized price tag, whatssuppp with that ?

You are new to the game arent you?

back in the day, guys like Jagr, Forsberg, Bure, Fedorov, Mogilny all wore Grafs.

And now that Fedorov is going back to Russia, he just ordered a pair.

In my opinion the hype about Graf skates is that there IS NO HYPE.

So true. People, especially younger ones want a gimmick, flashy colors and some fancy names such as 'x-rib' or ' u foam'. Grafs are a traditionalist's skate, back to the days when a skate was judged on quality and design, not the flashiest sounding gimmick and the best looking skate.

Just wondering what him going back to Russia has to do with him switching back to Graf? What was stopping him from wearing Graf as a Capital?

have you seen pictures of Jagr's foot after years of skating in Grafs

ya Forsberg never seemed to have any foot issues either

I know it doesn't happen to everyone but I have seen many a feet destroyed by Graf skates

Forsberg's ankle condition was pre-existing. I'm not sure what you're getting at. He was born with it and it worsened as he got older.

Not service. We have a great pro rep in that area.

Any other reason?

Is Joe still the pro rep for the NE?

Yeah. Joe is still our NE USA rep. He's a beauty.

I can only wish the Graf rep for Western Canada was better.

Other than that, no other skate manufacturer offers the comfort, performance and durability across their line of skates as Graf does. They're truly the brand that most people looking at the mid-high end skates should be at least trying.

One could easily turn that around and tell you that you are just too stuborn to realize the new innovations taking place in the skates today. Sure they're flashy, but people would realize real quick when a skate is just given a face-lift as opposed to new technological innovations.

Not dogging on Graf skates as I've never had the pleasure to skate in any. Just showing the other side of the coin.

An easy choice when I wanted to get back into the game after a long time away. As already stated; a wide choice of shapes and sizes to fit virtually anyone. You just need to get the right model. I can't be happier:

Yes but its not like graf skates are in the stone age, there up there with the other skates in the price range, its just they look like classic skates should ; black leather and white felt, how a skate should be made. None of this silver and chrome, silver and lime, and so on. I think grafs look the classic part and perform like any other top of the line skate, the comfort is better though.

Also, i would like to see this picture of Jagr's graf 'ruined' foot.
