Stanley Cup party @ Mario Lemieux house

Recommended Posts

They were originally on the Pittsburgh post gazette website but had to be removed.

Puckdaddy on yahoo had them a few days ago. I dunno who they belong to though.

See, The Cup has been through our area and I went down and had my picture taken standing next to it. I did not touch it out of respect but took several pictures. And then I read of all the crazy antics, accidents and stories The Cup winners have done and I say, "Ehh. Maybe next time I'll touch the silly thing.

I suppose those who have worked and fought hard to be able to posess and hold The Cup should be allowed to eat pudding from it and drop it on the floor in a smoky bar.

Like he needs the name tag for his desk! Great pics!

It might be the nameplate from his locker at Mellon or something, that he just made into an office nameplate when he retired, a little keepsake for the desk.

I heard rumors that that is Sids guest house.. If that's true that's crazy!

Its Lemieux's house, Crosby lives with him and his family. :)

Lol Mario likes the same wines I do. Chateaunuef-du-Papes and red Rhone blends. That Beaucastel has been probably one of my favorites but, from the looks of it he better drink it within the next 3 years before it turns vin cotto. I'd peg him for a Clos du Truffier kind of guy.

I don't always drink beer but when I do, I prefer Dos Equis. Stay thirsty my friends.
