What an awful show! Really bad! I don't think I will ever sit down to watch another award show.

Lets just give them out like the other leagues, I think this makes the NHL look even more lame.

Man, I hope they replay this. I totally forgot about it and didn't see a minute.

Um honestly it was boring and wouldn't watch it again. Crazy lounge music and overall lacked some wow.

I was expecting in Vegas for them to play it up.

Vegas has really played it up behind the scenes for the players. From everything I have heard the players are loving it here in Vegas. I think part of the problem is the NHL was being to concervative, they should learn for next year and let Vegas be Vegas. The NHL tried to put a few youth things together at the last minute but they didn't quite work out. They are going to put more effort into next years awards. I've heard that there are talks about having the future drafts here because they like the treatment they are getting. Todays the golf tourney day so most of should be having alot of fun.

I'm sure the players are loving it there. Charity poker tournaments, all the gambling, great weather, etc. Just wish that if they are going to do an awards show, they make it a lot more exciting, and little less like an uncomfortable elevator ride.

I hope they don't do the NHL draft in Vegas, I love how they go to different cities each year. Bettmann is just trying to find an excuse to not get boo'd every year in every city he goes to. :lol:

And it'll suck for all the "kids" under 21...what are they gonna do? go play in the pool while the big boys go gamble, (strip) clubs and get drunk? Bring it back to Canada where the age limit is 19 :P

Looks like we might have a new Russian Feud this year - Ovey vs Dats...that line about his english with Malkin was pure comedy.

Way to go AO - calling the cup...we are all witnesses....

I like more him asking Feds to be back.

Did he say that to Feds during the awards? I didnt see it...

When he accepted the Hart, Feds was presenting, and he said "we hope to win stanley cup next year" but turned back and said it to Feds as if to say "come on Sergei, you know you want to play here with us"

there are plenty of 18+ strip joints, they just don't serve alchohol. Plus there are plenty of guys 21+ in the draft. IMHO, the last thing I would want to do as a new draft pick or future pick is get trashed in a strip club and hit the media, don't think it would go over well with the owners.

It seams that everyone had a real good time in Vegas, plus it can handle anything the NHL wants or needs. You don't need to worry about anythin.
