Didn't see this anywhere, Savard in non-white 11Ks tonight.

He's also been wearing some "blacked out" U+ types lately also.

TruTemper manufactured stick

yup, Ballistik.

Also, got a chance to see the 11k demo the other day. Real nice stick. Not too much tweaking from the 10k it seems, but it felt pretty good (couldn't do much other than hold it as there's only two of the sticks made so far).

Anybody know if the capitals/rangers/bluejackets have pro stock proshops? I'd definately be willing to give them a call, they wear the same colors as my highschool:

***pic***

Is that black helmets and gloves with navy unis? Wha? I don't want to be a eqm. whore here but damn, that's messed up. Navy for your shit instead of black would look so much better.

If I'm seeing it correctly, it is a prototype holder developed by George "Crow" Smith. Crow is the guy who invented the original tuuk holder for Bauer/Canstar which was the first plastic holder. He's been "shopping the design around to a few different manufacturers. Warrior is one name he threw at us and now claims to have a Swedish company that is constructing a boot and are interested in the holder. We'll see. We have a couple of his earlier prototypes in the store and might have one or two of those hanging around. Essentially, the hollowed out part in the back is a release lever making it very simple to change steel. The metal piece is a bar that locks in the steel. I'll make an attempt to post pics Monday but there will be a strong possibility I'll need assistance. About time I got motivated to learn how to take and post pics.

There's a pic on the pro balance website. The QuikBlade:

blade_qbr_600px.jpg

proskatebalance.com, they have them for sale if anyone's interested. Rather short on description though, if somebody was interested enough they could probably e-mail wally.
