reyno2ac 0 Report post Posted July 16, 2009 I grew up a mile from there and my family still lives there, I'm 2 hours north right now for school. That's going to cause HORRIBLE traffic back ups for a long time, good thing I'm staying up here for a while. Unfortunately that bridge had just been worked on.Still waiting to hear what caused the accident, so far I've heard:-A man ran out to get his kittens-The driver was T-boned-The tanker hit the bridge because it was to tall. jrhky36 1 Report post Posted July 17, 2009 the second truck was carring produce. the first suppossedly jackknifed and was hit by the other truck. the part that sucks the most is that over pass had just finished major work on it less than 6 months ago. reports say that he whole overpass is totaled so they have to rebuilt it. well looks like some new jobs now. but 75 will be closed for some time. the local abc station jumped in with coverage during wipeout, so i ended up missing the end of hte show. i was not happy about it. but thank goodness no one was hurt.
