New Gloves

Recommended Posts

I haven't purchased new gloves since college and my hands are def. feeling the effects. Any suggestions on what's good these days? I am used to playing with almost no palm as wear and tear over the years destroyed them. So flexibility would be key.

In my opinion the Bauer 4-rolls are the most flexable. They dont protect you that good but are very comfortable.

Off the shelf Nylon gloves are going to feel more flexible, though synthetic leather gloves would eventually break in as well.

echoing what chadd said. what price range are you looking? i have xxx, bauer 4roll and eagle x-88. for me i like the x-88 best but all are good. though each one fits differently. try on a bunch at your lhs and see what fits you best.

I have some One75's, love them, but I like the smallest, lightest gloves with the least obtrusive cuff possible. The Warrior Bully was an excellent 4-roll style glove, a medium fit. The new CCM 4-rolls also looked pretty good.

Jarick, I bought the Bully last week at Westwood Sports. I had to get a glove in blue, so I was in the market for new gloves. I've yet to use them though, how was your experience with them? I'm also thinking about picking up a pair of the new CCM 4 rolls as a glove to rotate with the Bully's.

Loved the feel of them and the protection, loved the look, but they were just a hair big, and gloves tend to get bigger over time.

I've got about 12.5" hands, so 13" One75's fit kind of tight at first and now they are the most wonderful things ever. Probably my favorite piece of hockey gear ever.
