Hi just wanted to say hi to everyone here. My brother showed me this site and there is no much information here its great. I just picked up hockey. I have been playing roller hockey for a year now and now im going to try and play some ice hockey. I went out Saturday night and played my first ice hockey pick up game its so much fun. Well just really wanted to just say hello and thank who ever started this site, its great.

lol, EBONDO, when i showed my gf this site that was her biggest concern lol...i have to say, it hasnt happened yet. being somewhat broke and a student helps ease that alot.

Advice I would give is to use the search function.

There are some great lengthy threads on pretty much any topic you will likely need.

You need to do at least a 4 character search.

I generally search thread titles then try to do at least 2 criteria +vector +gloves

It also cuts down on the clutter if you can find a thread on whatever you are looking for.

welcome to the boards!! I see you live in Va. Beach too. Where do you play? I play in a mixed league on Sundays at iceland and pickup games at Chilled Ponds on weds and fridays. Say hi if you ever see me. I'm probably the only asain guy who plays hockey down here, so if you see an asain guy on the ice, there's a good chance it's me. Since this site, i think ive doubled my gear intake but on a plus note i located some sticks and pretty much sold off all my non cnt's, not that having more gear is a bad thing of course.
