that guy has always been a fucking creep, like a real weirdo, rumor is too that the local Fox 2 anchor had two sons play for him and there were a few red flags and he complained and nothing was ever done, the shitty part is the guy had some really good teams and it would be a shame if that was the reason this went unnoticed for so long

As parents I think we need to be more vigilant of these red flags and speak up despite how uncomfortable it may make us. I remember in middle school there was a teacher who everyone thought was a bit 'creepy'... he use to hug students (mostly girls) on a daily basis. All of us kids would talk and joke about it... and I'm sure the administration was aware of it... yet the hugging was allowed to continue. It may have been 100% benign, but regardless, it was unacceptable teacher/student contact and something should have been done about it. Fast forward to a few years ago, and some female students came out claiming they were inappropriately touched (more than hugs) by this teacher... he was fired (not sure if he was put in jail)... but it should never have been allowed to go on for that long if people had spoken up when they saw the red flags.

yeah, he's going right to segregation...if he's in General Population I give him 6 months. His kind don't do real well in there.

Similar thing happened here a few weeks ago. We are no longer aloud to have phones in the locker room in our high school league because we could be providing weapons to film child pornography. It was 2 refs here though, we always thought they were creepers.

A coach here was involved in some similar activities. The guy was a total whack-job, and needless to say, has been laughed out of every coaching job he's had.

We don't know yet if he molested any of his players... none have come forward, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Yeah he's in for a rude awakening. Its easy to say somone should have picked up on all the red flags in these cases, but I don't think there's much you can do until there's hard evidence or someone comes forward unfortunately.
