His celebration thing is really getting old.

I've seen it twice tonight and I'm sick of it already *L*

Seriously...that's not that bad. Roy (Buf)...Kane...Stamkos...I've lots of guys to the knee slide...windmill routine...or is it that routine that is the problem...not the payer doung it?

He's done it after every goal I've seen so far. Once is one thing, having a "routine" is another.

Yeah I agree...and it's a pretty damn lame celebration if you ask me. I don't get what the hell he's suppose to be doing but...unless you score in overtime in the playoffs or something like that, it should go: you score...you tap gloves with your team mates, THE END.

Not to mention he's the biggest douchebag to ever lace them up. He's such a dirty little shit, and he never really answers the bell with anyone bigger than him.

So? He scored a goal, he doesn't score much, let him celebrate. Its human nature to express joy when you succeed, the only time this should be a problem is when the opposing team starts to use his celebrations to motivate themselves, but it seems people don't like doing that anymore.

It's not joy, it's a planned "look at me" type of celebration. I'm all for joy, but he tries to get away from his teammates so everyone can see him do the routine.

Or even guys his own size (and smaller) who drop them habitually. Whenever they're available, he usually makes Mair or Gaustad clean-up the messes he makes. Or he finds a ref to put between himself and whoever is challenging him.

...good luck getting Sabres' fans to recognize that, though.

Living in westerny new york Im a huge fan and realize he leaves the dirty work to Mair and the Goose, but lately hes had the scoring touch and I too agree its really dumb how he celebrates

Not sure which I think is worse, that celebration, or the Sabres announcer (I know the video isn't him, but besides the point). God I can't stand that guy.

I understand excitement when your team scores a goal, but come on, the only time you should be THAT excited is if it's a Stanley Cup winner.

And thanks syko

Announcers I can't stand: Sabres guy, Ottawa's Dean Brown and the Boston guy. Whenever I hear them on highlights, I just change the channel.

SOB deserves a massive suspension for that elbow on Kariya: targeted headshot against a defenceless player who has a history of concussions and is easily recognisable on the ice, and which sent him to the IR. This is exactly what the NHL needs to throwing the book at.

Take it easy he barely got the elbow up and Kariya didn't even fall

I didn't see it...but I happened to be listening to the Sabres gaem on the radio. It happened as he stepped out of the box, didn't it?

If you can't go :15 seconds off a 2:00 without taking another 2:00 penalty...what good are you on the roster?

I watched it as well and to me I thought he made contact with his shoulder and not with his elbow as it looked to me that he didnt even get his elbow up high enough..
