Even if they warrantied the stick, I doubt you'd get another Brashear. In my experience, most companies now require the original receipt with their warranty claims too.

A couple years ago he was using a lidstrom type curve, not sure what he has now but it probably isn't too different.

I believe you are correct with some manufacturers' Pro Stock sticks. But the Pro Stock Warrior and Bauer sticks I own have warranty stickers on them so I would assume you can make a warrantly claim.

big toe curve? i dont think thats what brashear uses.

my friend had a pro stock brashear one90. it was similar to a retail malkin....except the blade was about as thick as a goalie's blade. it was crazy.

Thye just don't remove the stickers. You cannot make a claim.

My two one95 pro stock sticks had warranty stickers on them. I actually laughed when I saw them.

In case my point isn't clear, see below.

Pro stock sticks are not warrantied.

Pro stock sticks are not warrantied.

It will not match up to a retail serial number.

It cannot be any more cut and dry than that.

I sent in my Sarnia sting Pro stock 40 from TSR a couple weeks ago, and got an x60 in return...

Isn't it that the original user, e.g. pro player, can make a warranty claim on the stick but nobody else?

Why would a pro need to make a warranty claim? They just get a new one.

I don't know- I thought the team could make the warranty claim actually. I might be way off base, JR, any ideas?

Want to know why that happened?

Here's a little secret...

TSR handles Bauer's warranty claims!

With the number of warranty sticks that they receive, they probably only gave it a cursory look. This time of year they get something like over 200 a week to give the once over.
