sherwood taper flex and force flex shafts

Recommended Posts

Hey,

I ve noticed that theres a bunch of junior "A"/"B" players from around here using these shafts and i was wondering if they are any good ? I'm also pretty sure the teams arent sponsered by sher-wood so its not like they are supposed to use 'em.

Thanks for the help,

Force flex used to come in everything from 70 flex to 120 flex so there were a lot of different models. The taper flex is essentially the same as the one in the Eclipse OPS.

I'm using the taper right now, and I love it. Has a lot of whip and the taper is well done. My only problem with it is how the ripples wear down after a few uses...

I have used a Force in the past. By far the hardest slapper I have ever had with a shaft. Nice feel and very durable. You can probably find them cheap these days as well. At least the older black/gold ones.

I had a 90 flex that felt more like 100 and it snapped within half an hour shooting after work one night.

I know a senior who used one of the int force flexes with a huge plug in it. He was happy with the performance.

Hey Sherwood21, what shaft are you using? I'm 5'7" , 150 lbs. and can't seem to find the shaft for me. I also use a very short stick.

Also if you don't mind me asking, how old are you?

I've used both the force flex and taper flex, but the one that I was referring to was the taper flex. The stick has definetely got a ton of flex, but seeing as you are the same size as me I would suggest it. I'm 13 by the way..

I think that there was a 5 gram differential between the two, the blue/silver is 290 and the black/gold is 295. Can't seem to find the black and gold ones around anymore though...: <_<
