Crazymonkey sticks

The date could start out cheap. But if she cracks (orders app, entre and fried ice cream) then before you know it you paid alot for nothing. without a happy ending

Unless you're local it's

$89.99

+$4.99

+$4.99

+$8.99

I'm conservative and would take the $150 known product (assuming that I liked it) over the $100+ unknown.

yeah for sure, i have always used wood sticks and my next stick purchase will be a OPS. Many things have deterred me throughout the years...mainly price & quality. But for the $$$ i can give the Crazy Monkey a shot for sure. Especially knowing its made by a top notch company like TT. I have always used TT shafts on my golf clubs and have always been happy with their performance and quality

Why so defensive? It sounds like you are either linked to this product financialy, or work for HM.

I am local. Wanna criticize me on that too?

That would just be jealousy talking. It never rains in southern California.

Just because someone has a differing point of view doesn't make it criticism, let alone personal. I have a lot of respect for your knowledge and history in the industry, that doesn't mean we always have to agree or that there is a right or wrong when it comes to our opinions.

Not trying anything, it just seems personal to you with some of your responses.

Neither actually, but nice try.

Ok, guys lets talk about sticks, not people. I don't want to have to clean this topic up or start a new one.

It would cost $99.46 for me to get one and have it shipped to Boston. The serp10 code for 10% off applies to the crazy monkey. I might consider getting one, although I was also looking at the Farrell Signature and the Warrior Mac Daddy, which I can get for about the same price...

Mission M-1 was made by Aldila, so no.

I have no doubts that stick is a very good performer. True Temper has made some great products for other companies for awhile.

The same True Temper and Aldila that make golf shafts? For what it's worth Aldila makes some of the best graphite shafts in golf.

that was my bad. had a m-1 way back when and got the 2 golf companies confused.

Hahaha... there's some heated debate over this private label stick

Somebody earlier in the thread said that TT made some sticks for bauer, reebok, and ccm... anybody want to enlighten us on the specific models?

Quite the opposite with your SN. You are quite upfront with your nickname! :)

Clearly the only way this mystery can be solved is with an MSH long term review! HM- send 50 over to MSH!

My profile says it all. I am not hiding behind a screen name.

TT and Aldila making sticks = awesome.

I am just getting back into hockey after 10+ years off, but during that time have been a full fledged golf equipment ho. I have heads and shafts coming and going out of here quite often. I was glad to see there are people just as crazy about hockey equipment. I'm desperately trying to hold off on the hockey ho'ing for a bit.

Back on topic, TT and Aldila are arguably two of the top 3 or 4 names in golf shafts (with Mitsubishi and Fujikura being the other two). TT has 95% of the steel shaft market along with a great graphite division (Grafalloy) and Aldila is top in graphite shaft counts every week on tour.

Could someone confirm exactly which company made the Mission Pulse and Fuel OPS? Thanks.

I know Aldila made the original fuel because I had one, unless my memory fails me. I don't know if they made the pulse though.

Thanks for the info. The reason I asked is the Pulse and Fuel OPS I used in 85 both felt much whippier than any other 85 flex I have used from any other vendor. The Pulse and Fuel are also the only two OPS I have ever snapped in half in the middle of the shaft taking a slap shot. At 5'6", 140, it was a surprise both times when it happened. I always thought the feel was awesome but I was sorry to have two snapped twigs. Now I know they were both from the same OEM.

The feel was great on them but the shafts were lacking in terms of performance as well.

I remember the same thing on the Fuel. One of the best puck feel sticks ever, but didn't have good weight/balance and didn't shoot well either.
