agreed. and why did the avalanche ever change the unique "rocky" stripe on it?? that was soo Colorado. It looked like Mountains.

Current is the super nintendo jersey. (SENS=> SNES). Dear lord that thing is awful.

Oh, and JR, tell management to ditch the bolts lettering, but to adopt that blue as their primary color. Put a real logo on the current third, and remove the ass logo, and you have a very nice jersey.

I think my own Colorado Avalanche's home (dark) jerseys are the worst. Remind me of those cheap Walmart sweatshirt/jersey things you see sometimes. Don't mind the blue thirds that much, not the greatest, but not horrible.

I also don't like St Louis', not sure why, too many stripes or something, just doesn't agree with me.

I'd have to say that for sheer impropriety, the Buffalo Horny Electro-Slug takes the garland.

However, nothing is quite so stomach-churning as a California Golden Seal with matching Northland helmet, gloves -- and identically-coloured skates! Even the all-white skates were a small improvement...

Worst part is, that jersey is part of his Hall of Fame exhibit, it's a piece of history. Someday, when I take my kids to the Hall and teach them about the great one, I'll have my child ask me "Daddy why the hell would a player as great as Gretzky wear such a piece of shit?" :(

The Hab's barberpole uniform is wretched.

The Maple Leaf's "St.Pats" retro jersey isn't all that bad, but the brown pants and helmet are not good.

I think that the flying V is better than some of the newer iterations of the canucks jerseys some are truly awful while that one, while retina burning was in vogue at that time, look at the flyers, the flames, oilers and countless others for other retina burning goodness.
