Jock question

I've used the loose Itech/Bauer jock shorts my whole life...just curious as to how people feel about the compression short/jock combo.

Thoughts? Preferences?

i've only ever used the compression jock. no complaints here. comfortable, easy, velcro included.

I usually wear under armour shorts underneath the jock...do you guys do that?

I use the WSI, it's a compression jock but the waist band is way looser than the Shock Doctor and the cup actually protects me.

i don't typically wear shorts underneath. i've found that having clothes sitting below a tighter cup-unit makes it so that things just don't sit right. a bit of shifting can be a big problem. i wear these. they're really comfortable. nice and snug, but the legs are super long. i have to cuff the bottoms up 5" or 6", and i'm 6'1".

I wear Nike DryFit compression shorts under a ShockDoc. loose jock short and I love the combo...The Nike shorts keep me cool and dry and the ShockDoc shorts protect and fit nicely over them for me....

Thats what i do, i wear the compression pants first then an Itech mesh jock above it.

+1 though I use the Itech loose shorts rather than the ShockDoc.

I wear Easton's version for martial arts when I am sparing. I'm happy with it.

Picked up an RBK compression jock a few weeks back. Very nice. I tried on the loose Shock Doctor and didn't like how the cup was loose. Seemed like it would move around and not stay in place.

I don't know about the shock doctor one, but I wear the loose RBK and it has straps like an old-fashion jock to hold it in place. I much prefer the loose over the compression.

I use the compression shock doctor stuff, it works well but now that I switched to EDGE socks I'm probably just getting a compression short with a spot for the cup, since I don't need the velcro anymore.

I use the RBK cup with compression pants. Tried the Shock Doctor stainless steel cup - too heavy and narrow. The RBK had better coverage and is not noticable when moving around.

I use Nike compression pants that have the grippy things at the bottom which hold up my socks. For a jock i wear a Jofa 830, i also use an easton garter belt. This is the best combo i have tried and is the best by far.
