Especially in the goalie scene. CCM and RBK (THC) has done a great job locking up big name players and promoting the hell out of them. Bauer I find has a great roster as well but is a lot more subtle with their marketing. I think it works better on the older players, but on the younger kids just getting into the game they all want RBK. Or warrior if they're "cool".

Since Danny Briere, Mike Richards, Jeff Carter, and that borderline NHL'er Andy Greene use Bauer, I'll never buy a Bauer product. Ever.

I'm not a kid anymore and I have a marketing degree. I must admit that I am not a fan of Ed Hardy/Affliction style graphics and 12 year old humor that warrior uses to market their gear...

But I noticed alot of guys switching to their stuff, paid or unpaid, since they got into hockey via Inno and MIA 4-5 years ago. As a result, I deem their stuff to be halfway decent. I converted from goalie when I graduated college a few years ago and got Easton 4 rolls and synergys because Easton sponsored/supplied my college and my buddies swore by them. Knowing the synergy and E-pros are popular in the NHL reinforced that decision.

My Point: I like to see what the masses are wearing. I deem a product to be halfway decent if the 3rd liners rep it hard.

Alot of pros are using the s19 but not all, Kris Letang some might know of him pretty long time user of the easton was using a bauer the other night but I have noticed the use of easton, But people saying Malkin isn't a big name to sell stuff like crosby , or the knee on knee loser, 1st round 2nd overall thats pretty good ,who cares he is not flashy he has been mvp and has a cup.
