Been listening to a lot more music with guitar solos lately and since we seem to be on the subject I was wondering what are some of your favorites?

Here are my first two...

Ultimate super shredding: Vivian Campbell (Whitesnake) - In the Still of the Night

Ultime minimalist solo: Neil Young - Cinnamon Girl (It's only one note and it still rocks!)

I like Stairway's solo, even though it's sort of standard...Lots of times if you find videos of bands recording and they're going like all out they can get some crazy solos down, but they might not necessarily get released/recorded.

Hallowed be thy name by Iron Maiden, and also fear of the dark, run to the hills, and aces high. basically anything by Iron Maiden has sick guitar in it.
