bauer/warrior

Recommended Posts

My school next year is getting bauer/warrior sticks and I need to pick between totalones or any warrior stick. Obviously it's preference but I have been using se16s and easton sticks for a while now and I was wondering if anyone had some insight on what is a close feel to the se16 or on the totalones/warriors. Any help is appreciated.

thanks

It's going to be tough for people to compare the TotalOne to a Warrior stick (presumably a Dolomite) since the TotalOne is still not out in the market. Warrior's blades have always felt hard to me. IF the TotalOne blade feels similar the the One95's blade, I'd go that route. But again, I haven't tried the TotatOne and I'm completely speculating.

I would go with Warrior, the blades have awesome feel and I just like their sticks. And yeah, no one has used the Totalone yet. I would see if you can pick up a One95 and a Dolomite DD and see which one you like better

If you're looking for something comparable to an Easton OPS, go with the X:60. The Vapor line feels much more like an Easton stick than the Supreme line.

I prefer the one95 but X:60 is definitely more Easton than Supreme.

if they're giving you a choice and holding you to it, you should get together with your team and ask for some samples to play with before you make your call.

I used an Se16 last season and have been using synergy's/zcarb blades for the last 7 years or so. I bought a dolomite 2 years ago because i needed a stick and absolutely hated the blade, still only used it twice. For me it just didn't compare to an easton blade. It just felt dead and poorly balanced. They may have changed a bit in the past couple years though. As a backup, I have a one95 blade in an AK27 shaft, and I really like the blade. Its got a nice solid feel and I actually like it better than a zcarb/S15/S19 blade in there. Im not sure how bauer's shafts compare, but if the blade is a factor I'd say go for the totalone if its anything like a one95.

I agree that there is something about a Warrior blade that just takes down the whole stick. There is no feel of the puck at all, most of the time. I have used Dolomite Spyne, Kronik, and Macdaddy OPS from Warrior.

i was a big fan of the dolo blade until i used a one95. going back, it definitely has a "dead" feel to it.
