New Nike Line

Recommended Posts

Hey i work at a very respectable hockeystore in Canada. I was just wondering if anyone has heard any news about the new Nike Line being launched this year!? We are really close with alot of our reps. I was gonna get custom V12s and my rep convinced me to wait till December for the new line... they are supposedly awesome and just as light as the Vapour XXX.... just wondering if anyone else has any news

Who are you kidding Graz, you'd never buy a Nike skate. :P

Seriously though, I heard they are updating all of their protective too, and at a better price point. Sorry, thats the only info I have so far.

I am hopping for a old school Eagle type glove, but they will come out with something Spawn or Robocopish.

I think another manufacturer may be working on something like that.

I hated the Nike gloves i hate the nike gloves i had. They were the old Ignites, never fully broke in and the palm ripped in a heart beat, but now i have eagles so im set.

Do any of you realize that Nike is exclusive at one of the largest canadian retailers? Nike has exclusive "NIKE" branded products at Canadian Tire. For my american friends, Canadian Tire is great place for low-mid level products, most of which are SMU's.

I am very curious to see the 2005 line just so I can see the brand direction.

I personally own a set of Eagles, and prefer the fit of Nike Quest 3's much better. I can't handle the looseness of the palm. Of course, the only reason why I bought eagles was that I got them for 5cdn...so it was a bargain. But yah, I prefer Nike equipment to practically every other brand (except Mission). Can't wait to see some of their mid-class equipment, since that's all I can afford.

The BNH rep showed us the cataloge for next year. V-12s are gonna be discontinued. So store owners, dont stock up on V-12s thinking that they will stay. Keep a light inventory

V-12s...are you talking skates, shins, elbow, shoulder? All of the above

Also - if you saw the catalog....is it half empty...what is Nike going to retail? Skates? Sticks? Equipment

I have heard no more gloves, most likely no more helmet (0004), etc
