Non-Bulk Shin Pads?

Recommended Posts

Currently wearing RBK 7K's (original Jofa Fitlite design they came out with when RBK was in year one). They're very bulky, I have tree trunk legs and I want something that's more lightweight, not as bulky and dont make my calves look so huge.

Sadly, there aren't many LHS's around here that carry a wide selection so trying stuff on is kinda tough. Any suggestions? Thx!

I was looking for slimmer fitting shin pads a few months back. I tried a bunch on at my lhs and went with xxxx's. Been happy with them so far

I'm going to sound like a broken record but Bauer Pro/Pro Lightspeed. My calves are a little more than 17" around and the wrap is thin but fits the calf muscle perfectly, I have no gaps and it's still a decently slim pad.

Warriors are slimmer but I personally didn't feel comfortable with the knee caps on them.

Thx, they have several Warrior shins at the Pro Shop so I'm going to try them on tonight.

Try eastons. The synergy series, slim and narrow fit, and decent protection. So far 3 yrs of 2-3 times a week play and still looking good and going strong. I was looking for the same things u ate when I purchased mine,

The warrior shins are very nice an snug with the calf wrap its pretty much like the on95 but less bulk imo.

I just got the S19's and love them so far. The built in wrap around system is great and I still get a nice breeze when I use the RBK edge socks.

I've tried about 4 different sets (RBK 4K, RBK 6K, Missions Fuel 130 & Graf 700) of shins within the last 6 years and have found that the 4K's are the least bulkiest at least for me. My search still continues...

I love my Itech 660s. The only senior Itechs I can find online anymore are THESE. They were the top of the line model at the time. They fit very deep over the leg and hold up pretty well, mine are four years old.
