its just tough to get votes when a. ) your fan base is lousy and b ) your team ranks near the bottom in all major statistical categories.

Only one goalie from the West? Lou,Quick, Rinne. I know it's not based on conference, just surprised, especially by Ward over Lou.

I also get the every team representation, but no Zetterberg? really? Hemsky/Kessel/Elias over Zett (I get the team rep, but come on), it's a stupid game so who really cares, but stuff like this, just adds to the stupidity.

Someone above mentioned Datsyuk, however the comment was before the injury, so on the note of Red Wings, where is Zetterberg? He's 7th in the league in points, and still one of the best all around in the game. 100% more deserving of an All-Star spot over some of the choices.

my original ballot was stamkos , croby , semin. semin fell apart , so id swap him out for patrik sharp

letang , robidas. robidas has fell off quite a bit but is still a quality player. right now , though , id swap him out for nikki lidstrom.

my goalie now would prob be MA Fleurry. if you scratch his 1st 7 starts , hes been the best goalie in the league and alot of the reason the penguins are near the top of the east
