Looking for gloves to replace Eagle X50's

Recommended Posts

I have not bought new gloves in like 10 years. i just kept getting them replalmed. They have finally seen their last days and I am looking for a similiar replacement. I bout a pair of X-70's with the dominatrix like material on them but they are just way too stiff. Any recomendations? I like the real leather as opposed to the tufftech material.

If the 'dominatrix' material you're talking about is Pro-glo, then leather gloves won't be more flexible, if anything it's gonna be stiffer. Keep in mind your 10 years old gloves are (very) broken in, just give your X-70s a chance

You could try the Eagle PPF's in Portofino leather. I'm not sure if that's the material you are referring to, but they should be similar to the X50's; maybe a bit thicker leather.

The Forte-made X50 was my favorite Eagle glove. I almost bought a pair a month or so ago but they were completely trashed.

They have a nice softness and feel unlike anything currently on the market.

Pro Glow? My custom X90's are Pro Glow.....same thing sublitwill? Or something totally different? Or is "Pro Glow" just a treatment to the matierial after being made? Those are probably in the top 3 Eagle gloves, I have seen! WOW those are nice! Thanks for posting!

Cheers!

It is man made material used to simulate leather, commonly referred to as PU.

Very nice. They're really bright, haha.

I would kill for some pro-glo Eagles (or whatever really) WITHOUT one-piece fingers

So does that mean my pre vaughn Eagle X90's are 1 piece fingers? How do I tell 17D1998?

Thanks

Look at the fingers and count how many segments there are.

hahaha, "dominatrix" material.

that'll show up in a warrior catalogue soon.

The Hitman gloves had a thin pro-glo stripe but yeah if Warrior would make 100% pro-glo gloves, I'd get them for sure

Sorry yeah they were Portifino. Wound up just getting the x50's repalmed and embroidered with my name on them (these gloves are like my first born). I decided to buy up a pair of Warrior Franchises to tide me over til' my Eagles are done getting restored. They actually looked and felt pretty similar.
