Patrick Kane stick

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if anyone is aware of a place that I could get a Patrick Kane Pro Stock stick. I was playing with one the other night and loved it. I've searched the threads on this site and didn't see a thread.

Thanks

Have u tried Hawksquarters? There a place in downtown Park Ridge just north of chicago. It's a picture frame store behind the starbucks. I can't remember the name. He never had sticks for sale but he pants, socks, and i believe gloves at one point. I can't remember the name of the store. I'll try and find the name for u, I'll message u the name when i find out. He does work for toews and seabrook so he has some items laying around from time to time.

I'd like to know, too.

I walked through Hawkquarters on Michigan Ave back in early December and I could've sworn they had some equipment... didn't pay close attention though. Maybe just give them a call.

Over the past couple years I've seen equipment come and go at hawkquarters depending on time of year... around christmas or around playoff / post-championship time they move the equipment out and fill every inch of the store with jerseys and apparel since thats what will be selling during those periods. I've havent been there too recently, but its worth checking. However, a kane stick is unlikely to find anyways.

What kind of equipment have you seen there?

They don't sell any equipment at all anymore. They used to have everything from goalie pads to boxes full of wooden blades.

You can call and ask but they will tell you the don't sell equipment. You can find some equipment at the convention during the summer though.

If it was a Bauer you could check the numbers on it and find a similar pro stock or retail stick (depending on the specs. he uses).

Thanks a lot, I'll check it out. That's maybe a 40 minute drive for me, not too bad.

No problem

You should call first before taking the 40 minute drive. I just remembered that a while back at Gunzo's in Morton Grove had two pair of toews easton gloves. i think they were $200. Gunzo's isn't to far from the frame store. probably another 10 minutes from there. Call both places.

he has his own retail curve, p88

Not many of the NHL players use the retail curves that carry their names. From what I have read on here, Patrick Kane uses a curve a lot more like the p92 than the p88. Ovechkin uses a nasty toe curve instead of the heel wedge ccm puts his name on and so on. To go even farther into it, the have different construction, different flex points, and sometimes different sticks under the skin(likeone90's painted like total one's or one95's).

Cheers!

I am not sure if you are being sarcastic or not. But if not here it goes. Not many of the NHL players use the retail curves that carry their names. If you are being sarcastic it was unclear. If not I thought i would save you the responses you could possibly see on here. To go even farther into it, the have different construction, different flex points, and sometimes different sticks under the skin(likeone90's painted like total one's or one95's).

The thing is, I'm already planning to go to Gunzo's within the next week or so, anyway.

Could you post a picture of the curve please? I've always been curious to what it looks like.

I actually had the chance to pick up one of Kane's sticks at the Hawks convention, and I compared it to the retail P88 curve. The two curves are extremely close, and if I were using a prostock and a retail Kane curve, truthfully, I would not notice any difference. The only major difference is that his Pro Stock has a square toe.

I think it's basically the old Easton Shanahan curve (mid/toe, long blade, slightly open, fairly square end).

Thanks!
