Pro Stock Stick Warrantys?

Recommended Posts

So I noticed some pro stock sticks say "pro stock no warranty" and others (ex totalone and u+cl pro) have the warranty sticker and code on the bottom that the retail totalone has. I broke my ccm ovi and it has that on there. U just got it and wondered of there's anything I can do.

You should contact who you bought it from and go from there. If it is SMU you may have the option. This would also explain the 209.00 price tag from prostockhockey gear. When my one95 tapered shaft broke Bauer replaced it with warranty.

Is the smu ccm or prostockhockeygear?

[/quoteI would get in touch with prostockhockeygear or whomever you bought the stick from. I forget what SMU stands for, but its basically a special order and not a true pro stock stick. It is made to the pro stock specs but it is made for the shop instead of the player. When Bauer made tapered one95 shafts last year for purehockey it was a smu order and even though it was not a retail model it was covered under warranty when it broke.

Its one of the ovechkins from pshg so its probably smu. Do I need to call ccm or pshg?

Call pshg and find out if it is smu and if the warranty is indeed effective.

If it says it's got a warranty, it does, and that's part of what you paid for, unless you were otherwise given notice that there was no warranty when you bought it.

"Due to the nature of pro stock hockey gear and the pros stock hockey gear market, we are not able to accept returns or offer warranty on any of our product" Checking their website ftw. Straight from PSHG.

There you go. Though it sure doesn't sound like it's pro stock equipment, if it's got a warranty tag on it.
