Just my opinion but Bauer didn't have any hot players on their roster, only pussies and/or boring guys (like staal, kane, stamkos, toews ... who cares about these players ???).

Others brands had "Wow" players : Crosby (rbk), Ovi(ccm), Kovalchuk + Kovalev (warrior)

Not to mention Easton got all the "fancy" players (heatley, iginla, getzlaf , Cammalleri, zetterburg, ...), although these are not superstars like Ovi or Crosby, they are at least players you can have an interest in.

Zetterberg is with Warrior now and Bauer has a lot of well known players who people like and respect.

Crosby: not going to play at least at the start of the season

Kovalchuck: had a horrible season last year, and is now playing for a defensive first team

Kovalev: playing in the KHL

Heatley: did nothing all season, IMHO washed up

Iginla: poor guy has no team around him

"Zetterbuuuuuurg": now is a warrior guy

Cammy: didn't do much

Getzlaf: the only really good Easton guy you mentioned

If these are wow players and someone like stamkos isn't, we are watching two different leagues. Plus, why do you call someone a pussy? No.

The fact is Bauer was dominant without Ovi, with him they are even more dominant.

Who cares about these players? Really?! REALLY? You care about Kovalev and not Toews? Just stop.

To be honest I really don't care how successful the player is. All that matters to me is : playing style, how nicely the guy can skate/handle the puck, ability to go coast to coast undressing everyone, .. etc

I don't see a lot of interest in guys that just stand in front of net to push the puck .. it simply provide us with ugly goals. (That shouldn't even be considered as goals, if I was president).

All the guys I mentioned have a special thing in my mind.

Crosby : Proper academic hockey boy. He's playing a P-E-R-F-E-C-T hockey. Not a single flaw in its game. Not to mention, several battles for the puck behind the net of anthology.

Ovi : one of a kind in every aspect.

Kovalchuk : on TV you can recognize this man among thousands, unique skating and puck handling.

Heatley : true the guy suck, but I like its style. How much in style he is, when he takes those one-timers with one knee on the ice. Very good one-hand stick handling as well.

Iginla : getting old, but still amazing guy even outside the rink. A captain that doesn't hesitate to get into fights and he does that with the spirit.

But before all that, the human being is just nice.

Cammy : super explosive playing style as well as pretty unique. Love the extremely sharp turns he takes right in front of the net, also his jumpy crossovers (Rabbit style).

Getzlaf : for its SO skills.

Kovalev : Probably among the best puck handler ever.

etc ... I can go on and on

Bauer puppets : like a lot of nhler, you sometime wonder if they ever attended school in their life.

They don't bring anything new to hockey, except scoring a lot of boring goals not even nice to watch.

I'm sorry but when you see Staal rocking the supreme or Kane the vapor skates on bauer videos, it's appalling.

When you get your totalone or x60 in LHS, you almost wish those guys would not wear the same skates as you.

Stamkos is probably the less worse. But so far I haven't seen him doing anything that impressed me. Except scoring shit loads of boring goals ...
