Injured Players in Fights

Writing a position paper on fighting in hockey and I need some help. Can anyone think of a fight where a player is injured and his opponent realizes this and ends the fight? Appreciate the help.

What about DiPietro/Johnson... Johnson could have delivered some more shots to an obviously injured DiPietro after they fell to the ice, but held up.

Dunno if this is a good enuff example but after lucic busts his eye up he lets the refs break it up instead of hitting him again.
