Does anyone other than Bauer(was itech) make mirrored visors

Does anyone other than Bauer(was itech) make mirrored visors.

In the market for replacing my pro wave mirrored visors from Bauer. I like it but was hoping for some more options... I though Oakley had some visors etc.

Thoughts?

Had them for years. Mine is getting scratched up and needs to be replaced. Was hoping for more selection. Wondering if I'm missing a few.

I'm not positive but I believe the mirrored visors aren't certified and they come with general negative feedback from the majority of the hockey community so Bauer may be the only company that makes them. FWIW, I support each player buying whatever gear he wants, if you want something and have the money you should buy what you want not what others tell you to buy based on their personal bias.

I wear it it for beer league and drop in. They have an advantage of hiding your eyes but they are a little anti social. Looks like It's going to be Bauer pro wave for life.

A little... Yea i have a blue/purple mirrored irridium oakley visor and it looks great. However, it gets you chirped like nothing else on the ice... Ended up going with a clear visor after a month or two.

Ya you can't find the mirrored irridium oakley visor anymore.

People leave me alone cause I'm a nice guy. Sometimes I'll cross my eyes then lift up the visor for them to see. Always good for a laugh.

You play beer league, do you really think hiding your eyes is giving you an advantage? You may think it looks "great" but everyone (even your teammates) are chirping you.

I don't understand why this effects you two; if he wants to do it let him do it. As far as your question, I've only ever seen a Bauer/Itech verison, but by all means I'm not as smart as half the people on here when it comes to equipment!

I've been following this one for a few days and CANNOT believe that how kind to you, people are being about this. Mirrored? Really?

Yeah it's over the top and very flashy. Even Hossa's slight tint is too much for me ahah... but It shouldn't matter as long as the guy wearing it is not a d-bag I think. OP, look on craigslist or kijiji, I always see yellow, blue and mirrored visors going for dirt cheap, seems like people try them for a few games and decide they don't like it, I really wonder why...

There's a guy on one of the teams I play with, never wears a visor.

Apparently, before I started playing with this team, he bought a mirrored visor. Everyone started calling him Robocop.

He took it off the next game and never wore one again.

I personally wouldn't buy a mirrored one, but I also wouldn't chirp you for it. At least you're wearing something.

F*** what other say. If they're thinking more about your visor than your game, perfect.

I NEVER get chirped. Seriously never happens. Probably cause I'm one of the nice guys.

I'm sure if your a jerk then the first thing you will hear is something about your visor.

If you like mirrored visors, you better buy them now, Bauer is no longer making them available next year.

Thanks for the heads up!

Funny you should say that cause I just bought a straight cut mirrored visor and hated it. People have to remember that the mirrored is a little darker and it's a bit jarring when you look down below the visor. The Prowave is better for this since it seems to cover more.

Hiding my eyes is an advantage. No question about it. I noticed a difference first game. It's because some players/goalies are very good at reading your eyes.
