Cunndies 0 Report post Posted November 24, 2004 Scratch my last post, as I've just purchased an M-1 Grip shaft from estovlo2, so that's going to be my main one, when it appears.
Reaper 0 Report post Posted November 24, 2004 Speaking of plugs, do you taller guys crack or break them? I cracked one up pretty badly when I had my typhoon and now i think the one on my M-2 is going soon as well. (Mind you I use maybe 6 in. ones, cut slightly) Eventually they do, but I also wheelbarrow mine down and that's not much help to durability. One thing to try for reinforcing buttends is sanding sealant used in furniture finishing. The buttend should soak some if it up and it provides some reinforcement to the cell structure of the wood. fatwabbit 93 Report post Posted December 2, 2004 just broke a cyclone aluminium (been using it for about 3 years until it just snapped)...got a good deal from a guy who quit playing hockey... bought his mission team comp (10-7 flex) for USD$12!! still in good condition, only thing mission was the endplug (which i got off the cyclone).so far, the stick is really whippy, even more than the cyclone 85 flex. I love this flex. I also got two more intermediate synergy shafts 75 coming in... if anyone wants the shafts, drop me an email...

He said in another thread it was used from an AHL game with a slight crack, but its held up well. I think he paid $75 USD and it is (or was) in the trade section.
