M11 is no better than any other comparable helmet on the market in that regard, unless it fits better than the comparable helmets.

I'll look at the catalog tomorrow regarding Vegas gold.

It does not show the 4500, wouldn't surprise me if you could though. Michigan State last time I checked also used 4500s, so i'm guessing its possible.

In the catalog it is labeled as Notre Dame Gold. So yes, yes you can.

They paint them. Same treatment as the helmets. And as stated, will void certification.
