Base black ops or white ops?

Recommended Posts

Let us know when you get dressed this morning, maybe we can help you pick out a shirt too.

Ahahaha, that cracked me up. I don't think I need an opinion for that, thank you for offering haha.

Bro, get the white, it totally kicks harder and the puckfeel is incredible.

It would probably camoflauge with the ice, thanks for the opinion bro.

I'd get the black personally. I tried spray painting a stick white to see what all the hype was about and the paint job was already dinged up and scuffed up with my first couple minutes on the ice. Granted, it was just a two minute paint job but the puck marks appeared instantly.

I actually ordered one two weeks ago it should be arriving this week, ill post pictures when it comes in. I personally went for the black ops I also got clear gloss shaft and blade as well. To me black is a more classic colour and ive always hated white blades on comp sticks..

I spray painted a stick white to see what all the hype was about....and it didn't really impress me. Maybe at a junior/college/pro level it makes a difference, but not for me. I'm going back to darker colored sticks from now on.

The real benefits of a white stick "camouflaging" against the ice are vastly overstated.

That is pretty true.

Ya white does get puck marks on there quickly,

Ya post a pic when it arrives here. Black would look pretty slick and classic.

Not playing at any of those levels you mentioned haha.

The only thing it might help with is your peripheral vision in seeing the puck.

I noticed a huge difference when I switched to white tape...was just able to see the puck better.

Then again, you could simply use white tape :).

Ya, with white tape but I think I'm going to get the black ops and I usually tape the blade black. I like black more, it looks pretty slick and looks newer longer compared to white sticks.
