hornethockey21 3 Report post Posted September 27, 2012 I just untaped the top of my retail apx and saw a serial number. It says X60-14SR-L-1.My biggest question is why it says X60 and not apx. Is this just normal and I am stupid or is this something that should be looked into further?
Xero117 7 Report post Posted September 27, 2012 Could be mismarked, does it have that soft feel that a totalone or one95 has? If it does then it's probably been mismarked as an apx is supposed to have that super soft feel
JSK81 400 Report post Posted September 27, 2012 They use the X60 construction for the APX shaft, that's why it says X60. Totalone (and NXG) shafts have the one100 code on them. So don't worry, it's a legit APX.

hornethockey21 3 Report post Posted September 29, 2012 mmmm not sure where you saw that, I checked on both on my apx's everywhere inside the shaft too, the only thing there is the usual s/n that every stick has like so:This was the first time I had seen it. It looks like it is an imprint on the inside of the stick right at the top on the forehand side. Thanks everyone for the info. Glad to see that is a normal thing
ntwusc 62 Report post Posted September 30, 2012 I've seen "One100" on the Nexus 1000. I assume it's because they're using the same mandrels.
