between apx, totalone, nexus, rs, u+CL, i found totalone to have the best mobility. honorable mention to the u+CL's. i took a while procrastinating about what elbow pad i should be getting and after using the totalones for about 2 months now, i have not the slightest bit of regret

Agree with the Jofa recommendation... I had a pair for years and years, very comfortable with good protection on the elbow and fore-arm. That being said I now use a Bauer Supreme One-95, tons more protection and just as comfortable, the straps hold on to your fore-arm and the bicep protection just floats in place, no restriction of movement at all.

The Projekts are definitely a mobile pad - if you ordered the white ones I hope you ordered a size down from what you usually wear as those ran big. The new ones fit true to size (for me at least).

Ha, I had to go one size up with them. I usually wear size M, but with the Projekts the L was a much better fit.

Interesting...I wore large in all previous elbow pads (Nike V14s, One90s), but hat to go down to medium in the white projekts. I'm now in use the new grey and blue projekts in large and they fit well (they're comfortable, but locked on my arms and don't budge). The large in the white projekts could be pulled right off my arms while done up. I guess it just goes to show that each person is different and nothing is better than trying them on.

Exactly. I tried the Nexus 1000 elbows, size M was way too small and size L was way too big. You really need to try before you buy.

Yeah I completely agree with that just trying them wasn't an option as where I live (in San Diego) there's really only one place that sells hockey retail near me and they didnt have what I was looking for.
