They're $20 and Tron has 30% off everything right now.

hunt3rsean 44 Report post Posted December 16, 2012 Does the visor feel like it has a film on it when you run your finger across it? How are you storing it after games?
voxyledbetter 9 Report post Posted December 16, 2012 I'm not a chemistry expert but depending on what it's made out of, there are plastics that yellow over time. Might be part of the reason why it's so much less than an Oakley.
Stevie22 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2012 Does the visor feel like it has a film on it when you run your finger across it? How are you storing it after games? Just feels smooth like it always did. I clean it before and after every game and always put my helmet in a helmet bag.I'm not a chemistry expert but depending on what it's made out of, there are plastics that yellow over time. Might be part of the reason why it's so much less than an Oakley.Looked at some reviews on them and nothing like this seem to happen i have a Hedjuk ProLine that i usually use but its pretty beat to hell so i just bought this Tron one to do me for a little while but its only had 3 or 4 games and not even a scratch on it seems odd how its turned out like this! voxyledbetter 9 Report post Posted December 16, 2012 Yeah my experience with products yellowing is with house paints. Typically lower quality oil paint will yellow with out presence of UV light. But the yellowing is process that happens over a time period not quick like you describe, but then again different products.... Just my guess.

donkers 31 Report post Posted December 16, 2012 That sucks. I'd rank my s30 up there with Oakleys in terms of durability and optical clarity. Give them a call and they might replace it for you.
