so i'm at a LHS the other day because i wanted to get a dt-2 or dt-1. had a plan before i got there, started looking around and then i deviated from the plan quickly. had it in my mind that i wanted to get either or both in an 85 flex with zetterberg and or kopitar curves. long story short, decided on a dt-1 in 85 flex kopitar curve and dt-2 85 flex zetterberg curve. get to the counter to pay and the dude goes "cool, you know it's buy one get the second 60% off"

i was already running late and had spent way too much time in the store so i bought my sticks and left. went home, cut them to the my desired length because i thought i'd be on the ice saturday or sunday. wife got really sick so i didn't make it out.

yesterday i started thinking how my ocd tendencies made me take way too long in making a decision. if i would have known about the 60% off deal I would have still gotten the dt-1, but instead of the dt-2 would have gone with an NXG, RS 2, CCM RBZ. Just something different.

anyway, like the subject says. what a dummy.

i have a feeling though i'm going to really like both. have already used a dt-1 with zetterberg curve, 75 flex. really nice, but wanted to try an 85 flex.

For 60% off I would've bumped up to the top of the line of any brand. If you haven't taped it maybe they'll take it back? I doubt it but it's worth a shot.

you saved good money though and yes they might not have another sale for quite sometime but hell you'll have plenty of time to get other better sticks later. Can't beat your self up that much over it always another sale. just my 2 cents

You think that's bad, years ago I splurged and bought a Bauer One 90 shaft. While I was heating it w/ the stove to get the blade in, for some reason I put it down on the burner. Melted it in half. Never again....
