Hespeler Alpha Nemesis blade

Recommended Posts

I had no idea they made Alpha Nemesis blades. Does anyone know where I could get one, beside Ebay in right handed?

They did, I was just there and got to hold one for the first time. They feel great very light and balanced and the graphics are great. The flex was 260 and was hella stiff like an easton 110 or something. To bad they were going for $240.

They feel stiffer in the shop than they are on the ice

Did they have any Alph Nemesis blades? If so how much were they running for in SR. Right handed.

My 260 alpha is definately way stiffer than a 90 easton or CCM/TPS regular. i though it was fine in the store, but it's definately a pretty stiff on the ice for me

EDIT: will they be making an alpha nemesis shaft to go along with the blade?

no blades.....they had most of the ops though. the nemisis 2.0, the pyro and the alpha. It is a beautiful stick, I would have bought it right there if i hadnt spent so much money on sticks already this Christmas. That rubber insert thing, it is like part of the blade and not on top like I thought. Makes me wonder about the blade durability/stiffness.

they also had shafts for sale, i should have checked the price but didnt get a chance to.

You also have to take into consideration that you cut the stick atleast 6 inches...

my sport chek has a bunch of alpha nemesis, blades, shafts, ops. we also got in a bunch of pro stock alfredsson hespeler nemesis (blue and grey) for 99. alpha nemesis's will be on cheap soon, probably 79.99, but at the most 99.99

they are going for $79.99 CDN.

The issue I have with them is that the tenon is hollow. I looked at the end of the tenon and its completely hollow. No triple wall, without it I question how durable it is compared to triple wall tenon blades ?

I didn't break the baldes at all.

that's a confidence booster because I think you are a big guy and puts a lot of weight into your slap shot ?

How about vibration ? Are hollow tenons a big issue in terms of vibration ?

I would of guessed that light foam might a good ideal ?

The rubber inserts in the shaft seemed to eliminate most of the vibration and the pingy feel you might expect. I think JR was up here when I was using the Alpha Nemesis and can verify this. The curve was so unlike what I normally use, my accuracy was a bit off, but the puck jumped off the blade.

I meant you could verify my accuracy problems. Because you know I never have those problems with other sticks.

I am pretty sure you'll never see the Alpha @ SportChek for 79.99 or 99.99.

In the interest of others please specify the models or colours, Nemesis is too vague a word to use for Hespeler OPS's. You'll end up mis-leading(already have) people.

Here's a rundown of what 2004 product at Sportcheck(from Highest to Lowest)

Alpha Nemesis(maroon)

Nemesis 2.0 {including pro models} (grey)

Pyro Nemesis(orange)

Flash Nemesis(green)

Vex Nemesis {SMU} (powder blue)
