cut resistence skate socks?

Recommended Posts

I'm not sure what you'd search for (maybe socks and then muddle through the results), but there was a good long discussion about these socks after Karlsson got cut.

I've used both Bauer Elite Performance and the Tuff n Lite Pro Thin protective socks. The Bauers were a little itchy, and the material, especially in the ankles, started to harden over time due to the friction inside my skate. The Tuff n Lites are phenomenal! They feel just like cotton gym socks.

I have the warrior cut resistance ones and I've never tried to rip them (so I don't waste my money) but they haven't been itchy at all and fit super tight/comfortable.

are the tuff n light the only "cotton" ones.. it seems like every major brand has a sweat wicking material, i find to be uncomfortable... anyway just cut the foot part off? there was a few mentions of this in that thread.. only page 1 and 2 seem to be about actual cut resistance socks....

edit- seems like hogan hockey does have "sleeves"... cant find it on the site, but its there on their ebay store..
