Monty22 833 Report post Posted March 28, 2015 In CT/Western MA there are a lot of girls/women's programs teams and players.I could see it possibly working here if all those folks go consistently. With that said the AHL franchise in Hartford has had trouble drawing for years. It's been said women's hockey is the "fastest growing segment" of the game. I think it's long overdue but unless the NHL helps out as the NBA helps out with the WNBA, I don't think it's going to make it or if it does,it'll be like MLL, a major league that is really minor.
