If you are sure it will perform better why didn't you buy it? You're "sure it will perform better", and WOULD buy it if not for its colour. So you know you'd be happy with the performance, but not the colour. Thus you are choosing your sticks on colour. Don't feel bad, I admit it comes into play when I buy sticks as the determining factor (assuming both are unknown or both are equal in my eyes).

I'm saying I go for performance as well as looks. I would like a stick with the performance of the XXX, but a different look. I just dont like how it looks.

Obviously it is necessary to put down a kid who is 20+ years younger than you, seeing as you said that you have a son who will be playing in a few years. Do you think that gives you some sense of achievement? I'm not trying to make you mad, but that was just the most mature thing to say, EVER . You do put up a lot of good points and everything that you say I agree with, but I wouldn't recommend your demeanor as an example to people much younger than you. If you think your intelligence is so much superior than his, there is no reason to rub it in his face. Come on man, he's 12 and you are like 30+.

not that im defending stix, because i could care less how my stick looks, but when youre paying 300 bucks for a hockey stick, everything about the stick should be close if not exactly what you want

One of the kids on the ice earlier had one, first chance I've had to see one. At first I thougth he had one of the Ballistik OPS.
