New Shoulder Pads

Coming from my pair of douglas football style shoulder pads that ive owned for six years ive been having some trouble finding a new pair of shoulder pads. Ive been looking around, but everything i like is around $100. What do you guys think would be the best pair under $70. Im about 6'1, 185, Thanks.

Is the fit of the M-1s close to the fit of the bauer 8000 lightspeeds?

I've got the Lightspeeds. They're very mobile, light and comfortable. Can be adjusted for a perfect fit too. I highly recommend them.

How 'bout this year's UltraLites? Look to have the same profile, sloped shoulders as the Synergy shoulders, but obviously less expensive.

Probably the 8000's, I have the vapor 10's and they are basically the same so if you could find them on closeout you could probably get a good deal on them.

I finally recieved my M-1s in the mail from Hockey Giant and played with them tonight, but i cant seem to get used to the large bicep pads. Since the bicep pads can be removed im wondering if there is any way to buy smaller ones or any alternative.
