Caring what kind of shoes I buy makes you weird.

Trying to insult me by repeating what provoked me to call you a tool in the first place makes you a fool.

Carrying on this conversation would make you a complete joke.

The only joke here is those lame ass shoes, and you for buying them. Have fun looking like Bozo the Bootlegger.

"Carrying on this conversation would make you a complete joke."

You make this too easy, kid. Shut up and move on.

Fakes = Gross. Thanks for helping ruin the shoe industry.

You mean the industry that makes shoes with child labor overseas? Yeah, a lot of integrity in that industry. The fakes are probably just as well-made as the real ones.

TRUTH, Nike ruined the shoe industry.

THockey, are those black 87's ID's? Never seen that colorway before.

How about a pic of the current rotation? Pretty please... lol

Hoping to pick up a pair of AM 90 infra's and something else for myself for the holidays :D

Yes, I was invited to design them at the 255ID studio in NYC. It was when they still offered mesh on Air Max ID's quite some time ago.

Nike has since moved the ID studio into NikeTown, and turned the old storefront into the Sportswear store.

Going for something stoopid for my next pair.

Buying fakes is indeed stupid.

They're so horribly off, its not even funny.

If you collect, you're looking for legit Nikes. If you just want something on your feet that gets looks and has people talking, you're looking to pay $40.

I could care less if the Nike Swoosh on my shoe was put on by a Nike employee or not. For my intents and purposes, it's exactly the same.

Too bad they still look like shit (and no, I'm not talking about them being fake). I could find a blind monkey that would make a better looking shoe. I simply don't understand how that could be remotely good looking to someone.

Well, they are quite nice. I've seen the ID studio at Mercer, wanted to make an appointment to customize some 87's or 90's but just ever got around to it.

If you are buying shoes because you care what other people think of them, its no wonder you resort to buying knock-offs.

The second pair is not even based on a real pair, by the way. Mark would never let something looking that shitty ever be produced.

But hey, do you your own thing. You're only fooling yourself...........Just dont forget to throw your Kanye shades to match your outfit.

How is that "resorting" to something? What am I sacrificing? Why should I give a shit if it's authentic? Why should Nikes be sacred to me?

It's not memorabilia, it's a shoe.

Knock yourself out with your "storage" for your SHOES, being elitist about SHOES, and thinking you're hot shit because you can spot unauthentic SHOES - I'll worry about shit that actually matters.

Sneakers: Brooks (dunno what model, but you get them free during Army Reserve Training)

Indoor Soccer: Nike Total 90s, with some yellow accents. First touch with them was a blast that the goalie was complaining about, second game with them scored a hat trick).

*SNIP* 'cause I'm not a pic-quoting queer

Man, this buying fakes business is Ludacris. They totally didn't get the Swoosh right on that one.

For some reason that upside-down swoosh looks better than a normal one to me... although no doubt nike could release something like that and give it some crazy name, make a few hundred of them and sell them for heaps....
