I heard that the intial indications were that they wouldn't do it on Tuesday because it is Mr. Sutter's funeral...out of respect for a great hockey family they wouldn't turf the year on that day...

IF they do it, tomorrow the NHL is like a schoolhouse on Saturday...

They were suppose to open up the ACC for public skating on game days but so far they have only done it once, so don't be suprise when Maple Leaf Sports lets the faithful down once again.

If the NHL claims they held off the anouncement out of respect for Mr Sutter then they are even more out of touch than I thought. I imagine Mr Sutter will promptly roll over as soon as he gets into his grave, the man was all about hard work, fairness and respect and for the league to associate this mess (even remotely) with this day is crap.

Last lock-out we had a few cool things. Tour, public skate, give-aways and other stuff. This time they haven't done anything, nor have they informed us of anything to come. Initially we, the season ticket holders, were sent a letter saying how they would keep the spirit alive and keep the fans happy with items like I mentioned above.

I was looking forward to the Public skating at the ACC but they scrapped that after one night. Typical Maple Leaf Management, they know they'll pack the house no matter what so why spend the money. Its Harold Ballard all over again.
