Reebok changing the fit of the jerseys?

On another board I read that SI had an article on how RBK was going to change the fit of the NHL jersey, next year or whenever. Has anyone else heard this or does anyone have any more information on this? Thanks

Slimmer jerseys? I have the CCM women's jerseys in my mind. Is Reebok going to continue making those? Those don't even sell well...

I know a guy who'd love that. Goalie cut jerseys are hard to find...and when you do they cost a fortune. He buys XXL's and then has the sides and sleeves tailored to fit over his (huge) gear.

And how attractive will form fitting jerseys look with a bunch of lumpy shoulder and elbow pads underneath? They think these guys are built like football players?

Ugh... this sounds even worse then not having to watch hockey for a season. I honestly can't think of anything in sports more ridiculous looking then a hockey player in a jersey that "fits."

How about a hockey player in cooperalls? Oh wait...that happened...twice (I think). Must have been hard watching the Flyers and Whale for a whole season in those things. I watched only 30 seconds of the flyers in em and was rolling.

I know Fedorov wears a real tight jersey, I want to say a 50, but it might be smaller. He said that by wearing a tighter jersey, it cuts down on people clutching onto him. So who knows, maybe this will help slightly.

Hey...it's "retro"(look at the old team pics from the 20's 30's 40's etc.)...Worked for cars and trucks...plus it means a whole new set of different jersey styles for teams and Reebok to sell.
