Ya, I owned a Canadien one and another one but I can't think of the name, it will come eventually though.

I have this aluminum shaft made by Franklin. It's supposed to be a street hockey stick. However, it's 48" and it's as hard as a rock.

Is called a Cryolite?

Mine's called the Street Intiminator. I sprayed the whole stick black though because I didn't like the grey color the shaft came in.

I got one of those too mickz. I put and end plug in mine

Mine had a 2" plug in it and the shaft is still very stiff. It might get softer if I put a 6" plug in it but it's going to be too long for my liking.

Anyone own an Aluminum not made by Easton?

I had a grey KOHO in Bantam ('95). It was warped but fired rockets.

the only aluminum I ever owned was a pro gold. I pretty much went straight from wood sherwoods to ultra lites I only bought the aluminum later to mess around with outside.

i seen a custom Tom Poti it was a shaft Aluminum painted up like a z-bubble .. i seen them on E-bay a while back

Thats a Sweeden stealth painted to Sweeden's colors for the WCH. Every country had them painted to their colors.

Shanny actually got 2,000, not 200 shafts from Easton. He bought out their entire remaining supply because they stopped producing them. The silver Gretzky shaft was great in its time. It was actually fairly light for an aluminum and lasted forever. I still have mine in the basement.

The interesting thing about the Shanahan shafts now is that Easton did make him new ones. If you look at the ones he used last season, they have the new Easton graphics (the half-moons by the E). See this pic:

I think they probably just took some back and painted them so they look more modern. People started to confuse them for Stealths...

lol, the auction says "This stick was used by Gretzky in 1998 when he played for the LA Kings" however Gretzky played for the Rangers in both the 1997-98 and 1998-99 seasons.

I think that picture is wrong. It says it's Suchy #6. But the player is clearly wearing #3. Zdeno Chara if I'm right? He's got that huge stick.
