Hey I heard that those lance armstrong bracelets are counterfitted lots. My aunt said she saw it on the news or something of that sort. Its basically only from the official lance website you can get the money and it will actually go to the foundation thingy. Places like united's bracelets don't go to charity because they aren't legit.

How can hey not be legit? it came with the same packaging as the ones do from lance's site. I know becuase a teacher at my school bought a whole bunch from the site and sold them for one dollar.

I dont think united cycle would get counterfit bracelets and go against a great cause.

I think United Cycle more than any other store in our area would sell the real deal, especially because of their power.

Here are the details of the fake and real:

You can order them online at Lance's website.

Livestrong

You can order them by clicking the yellow banner across the top of the page. I think that you can buy them in quanitites of 10, 50, 100, 1000, or 1500.

Can I get EPO while I am there?

Are you saying Lance is using/ used EPO? He's an icon to the USA, he's a man that's defied so many odds and has emerged as a hero. He is one of the greatest men in the USA and world, and this is how you portray him? I think he is entitled to a bit more than false accusations, maybe a bit of praise and respect.

When so many people who were in a position to know make claims, you have to consider the possibility.

Has it been proven that he used it? They found it in house if I'm not mistaken, and a few doctors said they sold it to him/

Hey, we all convicted Barry Bonds in the court of public opinion for what is believed to be HGH or THG use. To give Armstrong an entirely free ride on similar allegations in a sport where performance enhancing drug use is far more common, is just not fair.

Some people on other forums sell them for about $4US shipped. I believe they're only a dollar at the Nike Store though. I'd buy from the Nike Store not only because it's cheaper, but it's going to a good cause. If you're buying the Livestrong bands off people, they're basically trying to make a profit off something that's meant for a charity.

4 bucks shipped isn't a profit on something they bought for a dollar.

Yes, but Lance has not been convicter, and nor has Barry. However, look at what Bond's has accomplished, a few batting titles, and the hatred of fans and media. Lance is a battler, who is loved throughout. I know we can speculate that he took EPO, however, it has not been proven, so until it is proven, I think the man deserves all the respect he has garnered. If proven that he took steroids, I will be the first to show my disaspointment and displeasure.

I was avoiding this topic since it was old..but now that it is brought up..hey it is July and all..

Lance is one of the most tested athletes in sport..whereas Bonds has been tested for what 1 year? in cycling you have 4 out of competition tests, plus when you finish in the top 3, 5, etc the leader and certain ones "at random" are tested after each stage of a race or one day classic..

the cyclist who was caught recently, US rider Tyler Hamilton, winner of LBL, the '04 Olympic TT, rode the Giro/Tour with a broken collarbone will be on the sidelines for 2 years now...

this is their last chance to "catch" lance..so you can be sure they will be bringing out all the chances to do it.look for more nighttime raids on discovery than any other team, etc

cycling on the whole is actually a fairly clean sport at the international level, its the local US scenes, etc where they don't have enough $ to do the testing where the 12k dreamers can go make a living for the summer..but you don't find them at Superweek, etc ...there were huge issues in the 90's..guys dropping dead from EPO use on the PDM squads etc..my fave from that time Gert Jan Theunisse being a big user..and the whole Festina affair of '98..but while their system generates a lot of publicity with WADA,etc when people are caught..the number of positives vs the number of cyclists on the PRO TOUR are few....I'd love to see MLB players have to go through WADA and other groups when tested..

Barry Bonds is a piece of shit. It is obvious he uses the juice. Everywhere Bonds goes he treats everyone like an asshole and has no respect for anyone. Did anyone here the Ron Kidell(sp) story? Kidell was a former MLB player who is retired now and raises money for children cancer victims by getting high profile major leaguers to sign jerseys and then he auctions them off and donates the money. He's had people like Mark McGwire, Derek Jeter, Roger Clemens, etc all sign jerseys for him. When he asked Bonds to sign the jersey for the kids with cancer Bonds said no because he doesn't sign for white people. Not only white kids get cancer Barry, you idiot. The reason Barry's rehab has taken so long is because he doesn't have the juice to help him get back.

There is TONS of knock-offs. Even the Edmonton Road Runner's had one. Also everybody has one now. They don't even know what it's for and they still have one.
