I emailed behind the mask about shipping to ontario and they said easton doesn't let them ship it across borders :(

And Why, Because then Easton couldn't make 40% more profit on Canadiens if they could by from the US. Way to Go Easton

Attention All Canadiens

p.s. Simple Rule of Thumb for Life, that you should use throughout Life: No Rule is Written in Stone and All things are Negotiable. If you are motivated enough, with just the smallest amount of effort and just a few phone calls (especially in this marketplace) I guarantee you can find an on-line hockey shop (e-tailer) who will ship Easton product across the border. It's done all the time. Why the Hell should Easton make 40% more gross profit off of you just because you are from Canada. It costs Easton virtually the same amount of money to ship sticks from Mexico to Canada, as it does to ship sticks from Mexico to Maine-New York-Louisiana-ect...

And if you are worried about the 30 day warantee. Quick Story: I bought a Stealth here in the States back in October. I hated the small handle shape so I sold it on Ebay to a dude in Canada. He broker the stick a week after getting it. I sent him the receipt and Easton still took the stick back, shipped from a Canadien customer with a US retailer receipt.

The Real Reason Easton and other Manuf's Charge More for Hockey Equipment in Canada is . . . because they can. Because Hockey is you National Sport and Passtime and Greedy Corporations Exploit this Fact. Sad but True.

Buck up, Canada:  Supposedly you're the only ones getting the Stealth in a 110 flex.

Buck up nothing, we can get a Stealth here in the states for $179.00 No Tax, total cost.

$179.00 U.S is 222.13 Canadien. Now how many Canadien retailers do you think are going to sell a Stealth for Anywhere near that price?

And get this, you can call Cyclone and Taylor and buy an Easton stick from the U.S., but you can't ship Easton from the U.S. to Canada. What kind of shite is that!

Forget the flex, Canadiens are being robbed blind! And you would need a 130 flex Stealth to get a real 110 flex feel due to the slender dimensions of the stick. See my post: the Truth about the Stealth. A skinnier stick is going to bend easier than a thicker stick of the same material.

I'm not contending that they aren't getting robbed, I'm just saying there's no benefit to me--someone living in the States--if I can get a cheaper Stealth that's not the right flex. It's flawed all around.

I'm pretty sure the guy said $169 for Synergy SL the last time I called. Also, FYI I asked them shipping from Arizona to St. Louis, MO and they quoted $14 or around there.

Casnadians... blame your goverment..... or your voters. You have the worse import taxes, GST, PST, TFT, HTT, if their is a tax., duty or import fee, your government tacks it on. It ends up in the retail price. Live with it or vote republican (if you have republicans) :-)

Ooops, sorry "Canadians" for my misspelling. I guess I consumed too much "low tax" adult beverages tonight. :-)

Sorry, but when folks complain about retail prices, they rarely consider the effect the gov't has on the final price, especially with imports. I use to buy hockey pants for example from Canadian suppliers. No more though. Since just about all textile type hockey equipment is made in China or the orient, even though I am buying from Canada, there is a 5.77% tarrif, and tarrif processing fees. I have to pass that on to the customer.

BTW, don't want to get on a rant about socialized medicine, but from what I hear, in Canada it's great, if you live long enough to make your appointment. I can get a cat scan or MRI in 1 day. I've heard the wait in Canada is months, perhaps longer.

I just got an MRI, it took a week. The waits are usually far overrated, and they make the wait times by the seriousness of the ailment. So if you need somthing bad, you're gunna get it ASAP.
