Graf Cobra perf steel/holder

My G3's are due to arrive any day now, but I can't afford to get the Tuuk custom +'s right away. Are the cobra holders & steel as bad as some people say they are?

Anybody with experience with Tuuk + & Cobra's please share. Thanks

My LHS change the cobra for Tuuk custom + for 0$. It's just a trade and they keep the cobras.

I've had the Cobra holders on my two pairs of Grafs, with no troubles. About 4 years of ownership.

The first runs of holders were made too thin or too brittle and had cracking/breaking problems, from what I have been told.

can anyone adress what it woudl be like going from the lightspeed TUUK's to going to the cobras?

Cobras aren't so bad. They are stiff and durable. What I wasn't too fond of was how forward pitched they were. I felt like I was on my tip toes.

i have 605 and i just got a new pair and they have the cobras on them and my old 1s had the tuuks custom +'s on them and i hate the cobras im going to get mine swiched.

I played on Tuuk Custom + from the beginning. Now i have the cobras and dont want to go back.

90% of my graf customers have ditched their cobras for another brand holder steel. They hate the cobras/steel.

I have a pair being shipped to me from Graf this week for a customer, ordered with no cobras. He wants e-holders with hotblades. So, I'll be able to take a pair of undrilled boots and mount an e holder. This is the way I prefer to do it.

the cobra perf steel actually has a design error in the fact that the "tooth" comes to a sharp point on the bottom of the cut making it a very weak spot on the blade. I changed my cobras on my G5sto t'Blades right when i got them but my friend who has G5s didnt break the perf steel until maybe a month or 2 in.
