Couple of good pics of the Adrenaline

Recommended Posts

I saw one at the Hockey Expo in St. Paul yesterday and it looked really cheap. The blade was thin and almost like that of a Vector 110 blade.

Side note- I wasn't very impressed by any of the new stuff except the Mission L7 skates and the Vector gloves.

I bought an Adrenaline last week. It really is an ugly stick but thats the only bad thing about it. Unlike my XN10, although the paint job was ugly, it looked as though they actually tried to make it go straight down the shaft instead of being extremely crooked like most TPS sticks.

I've played with it in 3 games and a practice, and its everything that I hoped for in a stick. The weight is still very light (mine measured in at 432g), the blade is about the same thickness of an XN10, but the feel has definately improved (I think because of the shock-reducer feature they added to it). From the very beginning with my XN10, it always felt weak and a bit flimsy, but the Adrenaline has been nothing but completly solid. It is basically the only stick that I've ever bought, that I've really wanted to buy another one instead of trying something new.

BTW, It is Regular flex, and Sundin curve. And if anyone wants some detailed pictures, I'd be happy to take some.

It's fused. It is the same as an Xn10 OPS, but has some rubber insert(s) to reduce vibration and a kevlar wrap to increase durability.

I don't get why everyone is making such a big deal about how ugly it is. On the grand scale of things, does it truly matter if the stick isn't very attractive? Maybe I'm different, but I tend to judge my sticks on performance, not appearance.

Its fused, the only true OPS is the True one and the Vapor XXX.

And the Busch/Graf Laser and the powertek true OPS. TPS really needs to start working on making their graphics better. The first set of graphics on the XN10s looked best to me.

I don't mind the looks of it, other than the damn lightning bolts. If they just took them off, I think it would be a nice looking stick. About your comment though, not everyone is like that. A lot of kids judge performance based on looks, even though it makes no sense to do so. I showed a pic of the Adrenaline to a friend of mine who needs a new stick, and he said, "No way, that stick sucks!" When I asked why it sucks, he told me it was because of how it looks.

Its the pic. It is just blue. My stick is retail. I just paint over the name in white paint then add my name and number overtop with rub-on letters. I just need to buy some more letters.

I don't like how the whole stick is blue. Usually it fades to black when the blade starts, but this doesn't.

I think its great minus the bolts. I think it would've been great without it. If they changed the colour from yellow, I may even change my mind, but I think its the degin of the logo.

I think it looks fine minus the lightning bolts but on the picture "Blade 2" it looks like the top of Shaft it goes from black to blue at the blade like the Xn10 (except from black to yellow)

EDIT- Sorry Blade 1 pic
