If they fit your feet correctly, the V-12s are a great skate and should be pretty cheap now due to the flexlite 12s being released.

I second that...........discounting PP and your foot type, the V12's are the only top end model in your poll.

Except the Graf 727..........but if you're just looking at features, then V12 I guess.

Just to a heads up if you do get 727's there is little to no ankle support, not stiff at all. I didnt mind it but a lot of people do.

From what i understand the V-12 has breakdown problems similar to the vapor xx. I have the 727 now and love them. Yes they are cut a bit lower than other skates, but this provides for a better range of motion. I haven't had any issues with the support of the boot.

What is your foot type? I know you said all that aside but the 727 is very different from the rest of the 700 series in terms of fit.

I didnt have a problem either, but a lot of people have got them and found them not to be nearly supportive enough. I'd recommend them if you like a low cut skate, though. Although if you're coming for most CCMs or Bauers (not vapor series as much) the adjustment would be huge.

I need new skates, and although I know that it is personal preference, I would just like your opinions.

It really depends on what you're looking for in a skate. 727 and XIX is like comparing night and day. Depending on what you're looking for one would be better than the other. Not to exclude the rest of the skates, i just used those two as examples. After wasting everyones time saying that.... Of the skates listed I would say I like the V-12's. I liked the fit of the skate and the support they provided.

The V-12 is a good skate and right now, the price is around $179 for a $400 skate.

Do the math. Last year's top of the line. for less than all the other models you listed.

I just picked up a pair of V-12's a little over a week ago, I love the things. They broke in well and feel great. The one problem I have with the v-12's is that the toe cap is so wide that I can't make as tight turns without falling over as I could with my vapor XX.

As for the V-12 durability. They're tanks. I know one kid who plays D3 who got them brand new and skated on them 3 hours a day for almost 3 months, and at the beginning of the season just wanted a re-molding of the boot and new steel.

Besides, the v-12's look wicked cool.

Just make sure you get the skate that fits well. Also note that the grafs tend to rot out after a season because of the interior material.
