Mike Danton Arrested

Just heard on ESPN that Danton was arrested for plotting to have a man killed. He was arrested by the FBI. More details as they come in.

As many of you know I live in St. Louis, so obviously it's all over the media here.

The girl who he contacted to hire the hitman actually is somebody I sort of know. She lived a few streets over from me and attended a few of my games a while back (she knew one of our younger goalies.) She worked at the Blues new practice faciliity and that's where she met Danton.

It's still unlcear whether she was his girlfriend. Now they are saying that Danton and his "acquaintance/roomate" did NOT have a homosexual relationship although the wording that is being used in media reports indicates otherwise.

Several of the Blues players were interviewed about the possibility of having a teammate who may be homosexual. Most said it would make no difference as long as that particular player came out to play every night. Pronger did say that "you really never know how to react until you have to face it."

More info has come out on this.

Supposedly the man who was intended to be killed was Danton's agent, Dave Frost. They say this agent is a "mind-controller" and has a cult-like following among his clients.

Also the hired hitman (who informed the authorities of the whole plot), was some kid right out of high school.

Stranger by the moment.....

Not for him though. He put this upon himself. The chance to play the game he loves, make millions and retire at 35. Tough luck.

Actually, if you bothered to read anything you'll find that Danton loved hockey. Not to mention that he was so desperate to cover up whatever he's hiding just so he can keep playing hockey. Try using your head for something other than a hat rack kovy.
