Equipment Bag, Recommendations?

Recommended Posts

Between the two yes. I have pictures to display, however I do not have a hosting service. Seems like the site will not allow me to upload as they do not store images?

Photobucket is your friend.

It really isn't, As I tried that, and the controls are beyond my patience, along with all the ads. I'm old and I know it.

I'm using the GRIT Hockey Pod. I'm a smaller guy, wearing Adult Small on everything and it fits literally perfectly in the 30", though I believe they offer a size bigger. Incredibly lightweight, and a solid upgrade from my Bauer Premium bag.

think adult medium would be too tight?

I see plenty of two seaters at my local rink. You just have to put the gear in the front seat. In fact I had my Dad's Fiat Spyder in High School and actually drove w/ two players and gear. Be creative. The Cayman has a decent cargo area.

I used to drive a R34 Skyline, and the Modsquadhockey bag completely full was still able to fit in the trunk. Sticks had to go in the passenger's side, but i still had plenty of space in the trunk

I use my high school canvas bag from 1994... it's beat up, but doesn't weigh much. No frills. Literally a giant canvas bag with a big zipper.

barely fits in my car's trunk, I normally throw it in the back seat. (1997 BMW 328i)

wouldn't mind a better bag at some point.

Got the Warrior bag yesterday, and I am blown away. Seems super durable, heavy duty zippers, and the interior pockets really put it over the top. I got the navy/red/white one and it looks awesome! Thanks again for everyone's input and suggestions.

I don't have a warrior or grit, but I have a Reebok "pro style" bag and really like it. It has no extra pockets besides interior skate pockets. I thought I would miss the extra pockets, but it actually just means I cart around less junk. I don't need 5 jerseys, a bunch of socks, a million pucks or whatever else I had. I keep a small laundry bag that holds and extra jock, extra socks, and a screw driver.

All the extra bells and whistles just take up space and break and tear. Spartan and tough is the way to go.

here is my grit large tower with my gear stuffed in. Just zero room for anything else. 6" more would be great.

MSH jersey ready for sunday practice!
