What I really wanted was to have the colorway echo that of the Easton Air GX9500 gloves that the Calgary Flames wore in the 1994 season. Gary Suter and German Titov (below) are the only wearers to my knowledge. Here's the mock up: ... and finally the end result, which was better than I dared hope for. Huge, HUGE thank you to Jesse, Easton, and everyone else who made this possible. I've wanted customs like these for so long and to be able to get to make a pair just the way I wanted them was a dream come true.

I know, the bragging on the kid thing.... That said, my 10U was ask to play for a U14 team playing in Colorado this weekend. We jumped and though there was a bit of a flare up(meltdown) in our program(we have 14's that she's playing against in this tourney), it's all good. The team in 0-2, but have competed well, 60%+ of the girls are 12's(this program can't field 12's & 14's, so just 14's). Oh, guess the bragging...other than being ask as a 10 to play 14's, she's got 3 of their 5 goals. Scored 2 goals against her programs 14's, who they will not allow her to play up for.

I swear, I play my worst hockey with/against my ambulance company. Granted, two is not a fair sample, and both times I have either been getting sick or recovering from sick. Still, I feel disappointed that I am not giving a good showing, and nervous about players I don't know, and that leads to mini-feedback loops of despair where I decide that I don't deserve a drink of water because I made a poor play. On the brighter side, I am not quite as traumatized by highway driving these days, after several back-and-forth trips to ambulance and hockey. The nice B-level guys from a couple of weeks ago asked me to play this Saturday morning, but I had already committed to my usual Saturday guys. (my hockey is getting in the way of my hockey!) I feel flattered that I've been asked at all, considering they are very strong players who skate well together, and playing against them was a challenge.

Got mine after I read about them here and used them last night. Definitely a good product, love how it removes the negative space that I have in my larger 1x toe box. Big fan! Also, Rob is super nice and cares about his product.

Nobody can't say what profile is the best. 9'? 11'? 13'? 8'+12' combination? Flat center? There is no "best". Just there are better profiles for someone. Just try. It's the best way to make sure what is the better profile for you. If you couldn't feel any differences? It means you can skate with any profiles! It is so good talent. You don't need to worried about it.
